Dr. Spellman grew up in Milton, Delaware, a small town along the east coast. She worked as a technician through undergrad before attending Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. Through working in the ER during vet school, she found a love for critical care and is currently interested in pursuing a specialty in ECC.

In her free time, Dr. Spellman loves to read, hike, ski, and do just about anything outdoors, as well as spend time with her two cats and rabbit.
