Cardiology Services at ARISE Veterinary Center

At ARISE Veterinary Center – Queen Creek, our Cardiology Department is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions in pets. We offer a comprehensive range of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services to support your pet’s cardiovascular health.

Our board-certified veterinary cardiologists work closely with your primary care veterinarian to provide expert care for pets with suspected or confirmed heart disease. Whether your pet needs a routine screening or specialized treatment, we are here to help.

Our Cardiology Services Include:

  • Echocardiogram – A non-invasive ultrasound of the heart to evaluate structure and function.

  • Electrocardiogram (ECG) – Measures the electrical activity of the heart to detect arrhythmias and other abnormalities.

  • Holter Monitoring – 24-hour ECG recording for detailed rhythm analysis.

  • Thoracic Radiography – Chest X-rays to assess heart size and lung condition.

  • Blood Pressure Measurement – Accurate assessment of systemic blood pressure.

  • OFA Cardiac Certifications – Screenings for breeding animals to ensure cardiac health.

  • Screening for Cardiomyopathies – Evaluation for inherited and acquired heart muscle diseases.

  • Abdominocentesis, Thoracocentesis, and Pericardiocentesis – Procedures to remove fluid from the abdomen, chest cavity, or pericardial sac.

Coming Soon

We are expanding our cardiology capabilities to include interventional procedures, such as:

  • Pacemaker Implantation

  • Balloon Valvuloplasty

  • Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) Occlusion

These minimally invasive techniques will allow us to treat complex cardiac conditions with greater precision and improved outcomes.

What to Expect

Heart problems are common in animals and can range from “Let’s keep an eye on this” to “We need to take action.” The most successful way to treat pet heart disease is by evaluating the condition early on and working with your primary veterinarian and cardiologist for a complete diagnosis and plan of care.

Our board-certified cardiologist is devoted to the treatment of diseases and abnormalities of the heart, working closely with primary veterinarians for the most comprehensive pet care possible.
