Dr. Romero is originally from New Jersey and has spent most of her life on the East coast until moving to Arizona! She moved to Arizona to attend Midwestern University for veterinary medicine. Although she misses New Jersey, Dr. Romero says she plans to spend the next couple years here in AZ as there’s so much left to explore! She is interested in emergency medicine, as she used to be an ER tech and loved every second of it. She is also interested in getting more exposure to general surgery.

Dr. Romero loved to travel prior to vet school. Now, she just enjoys exploring new places like thrift stores, hikes, coffee shops, breweries, etc. Aside from exploring, she loves to foster kitties and pups whenever she can. She is excited to continue her journey at ARISE alongside many wonderful doctors and technicians!
