The experienced Doctors and staff at Arizona Regional, Intensive Care, Specialty & Emergency (ARISE) Veterinary Center are honored to be your trusted referral partner, serving your patient’s medical needs when you are not available in emergent situations or when specialized care is needed. The veterinarians, technicians, and support staff at ARISE Veterinary Center have extensive training and certification in each of their respective specialty areas. Our emergency and ICU care team is available to care for your patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We look forward to providing you and your clients with the most advanced medical care when it is needed most.
Our emergency clinicians always appreciate a phone call from the attending veterinarian prior to transferring a patient so our critical care team can customize a treatment plan, designed to suit your patient’s and client’s needs. This allows us to have direct communication and input from you prior to your client’s arrival.
Our specialty team will review your submitted electronic referral form and then give you a call to set up the next available appointment for your specified specialty referral request. If you are unable to attach pertinent diagnostics, records, and imaging, please send a copy with your client.
Admission of your transferring patient will be prioritized in an attempt to minimize his/her wait time in our lobby. Life-threatening and critically ill patients who enter our building after your patient may be treated sooner as per the discretion of our attending veterinarians.
Your client will be eligible for a discounted emergency exam if you call ahead and directly transfer a patient to us.
We do not provide routine veterinary services such as vaccinations, heartworm medication, flea and tick preventative, or prescription food refills to your clients and patients.
We will call you if we have questions that pertain to your hospitalized patient(s). We strive to keep you involved by direct communication to ensure a smooth transition back to your hospital when you are available.
We will provide your client with home care instructions at the time of the patient’s discharge. A full copy of their medical record will be emailed to them if the client prefers.
When your client leaves our care your office will receive a fax or email, based on your preference, with your patient’s medical record and diagnostic results.
We're proud to work closely with our partner veterinarians to provide pets with the best possible care.
