Dr. Becky Lozada Miranda was born and raised in Southbay California and completed her bachelor's degree in animal science at UC Davis. Before starting vet school, she spent some time working as an overnight ER technician. Dr. Lozada attended the University of Iowa for her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, and it is also where she completed her rotating small animal internship. She completed her residency in emergency and critical care at the University of Georgia from 2019 to 2022.
Her current interests are in mechanical ventilation, extracorporeal therapies, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and post cardiac arrest care. She joined AVECCC/ARISE's emergency and critical care team in 2022.
