Dr. Elizabeth McNiel is a board-certified veterinary medical and radiation oncologist with extensive experience in both academic and clinical settings. She earned her DVM from Texas A&M University, completed advanced training through a medical oncology residency at Colorado State University, and received a PhD in radiation biology alongside clinical training in radiation oncology. After 15 years in academia at leading institutions including the University of Minnesota, Michigan State University, and Tufts University, she transitioned to pharmaceutical research to help develop innovative therapies for animals and people. Dr. McNiel has since returned to clinical practice, where she is dedicated to helping pets with cancer maintain the highest possible quality of life while guiding families with compassionate care and clear treatment options.
